Congratulations on coming to the completion of your Goodbye Lyme Treatment Program! Now that you have been replacing one meal a day for the past two weeks with the lemonade cleanse, you can try a whole day!

The Master Cleanse has helped many people with Lyme to eliminate symptoms of inflammation, pain, and digestive discomfort. When you feel strong enough, I highly recommend several days, up to 10 consecutive days, of abstaining from solid food and doing this cleanse.

In the morning, you drink 1 cup of laxative tea. Smooth Move is a popular laxative tea that can be found in your health food store. Give yourself time to let your bowels empty out several times before going to work.

Throughout the day you continue taking your lemonade drink in place of solid food. Here is the recipe again:

8 oz of water
Juice from 1/2 of a fresh cut lemon
1 tsp of maple syrup, agave, or stevia
1 pinch of cayenne pepper

mix the ingredients in the 8 oz glass of water.

Drink as many as you want. Drink as much water as you want.

In the evening, drink 1 cup of laxative tea. Again, give yourself time to let your bowels empty out several times before going to bed.

Repeat this cleanse for up to 10 days.

On the 11th day, a normal master cleanse recommends drinking orange juice, as much as you want. Due to the high sugar content and dampness of orange juice, I recommend switching to unsweetened cranberry or tart cherry apple juice. (Do not drink laxative tea)

On the 12th day, you can make veggie juice or broth to drink during the day. You can use some of the following vegetables, herbs and spices in your juicer or cooked up in soup:

celery
lettuce
turnips
kohlrabi
sea weeds
Swiss chard
spinach
summer squash
napa cabbage
bok choy
broccoli
cauliflower
zucchini
radish
asparagus
garlic
onions
parsnip
mustard greens
winter squash
cabbage
kale
ginger
cinnamon bark
cloves
basil
rosemary
fennel
dill
anise
caraway
cumin
parsley
leek
chive
scallion
hot peppers -small amounts
cayenne

On the 13th day, you can eat any of the fruits and veggies on your anti-Lyme diet.

On the 14th day, you can eat any of the foods on your anti-Lyme diet.
